Rugged Rogaine Waikato
The Rugged Rogaine Series, run by Orienteering Waikato, is a fun way to explore the beautiful Waikato countryside, experience an adventure sport, practice map reading and navigation, and improve your fitness.
The series includes four races with 2, 4 & 8 hour rogaines held over farmland and through bush where teams/individuals have to find as many controls as they can in that time. The two hour race can be done solo but the 4 & 8 hour race must be done as a team (2-5 people, Men/Women/Mixed/Junior).

Rangitikei Adventure Race
The Rangitikei Adventure Race is based around different sections of the Rangitikei River.
At 254kms the Rangitikei River is one of New Zealand’s longest and most scenically stunning rivers. Its sheer vertical papa (clay) white cliffs (which are unique to this part of NZ) and deep canyons provide the perfect setting for adventure activities such as white water rafting and kayaking.
This year the Rangitikei Adventure Race will include a 6hr duathlon and 12hr paddling and duathlon options and all will be run in a rogaine style format.
The Rangitikei Adventure Race is part of the Adventure1 series that brings together 4 events around the country to form a National Championship. The 12hr paddling event is part of the A1 Series.
Relay for Life
We are proud to be supporting the Whanganui Cancer Society Relay for Life on the 22nd March.
We have rallied up some legendary local mums and kids to walk Cooks Gardens for this amazing cause. We all know someone affected by this horrific disease.
